Tanya Rosen
Job Title
Tanya is a conservationist working across Central Asia with a primary focus on the Persian leopard, and a wider suite of the region's wild cats, including snow leopard, caracal, Pallas's cat, lynx, and jungle cat. Based in Turkmenistan, she leads Team Bars Turkmenistan and is Director of Conservation X Lab's Central Asia Programs. Her work combines wildlife monitoring, anti-poaching, ranger capacity building, and community-based coexistence initiatives to support long-term recovery of wild cat populations and the connected landscapes they depend upon. She also contributes to international biodiversity policy through the Convention on Migratory Species. She holds degrees from in law and wildlife ecology from Yale, Harvard, and the University of Milan.
