I have been involved in cat conservation in Iran since 2005, where I cooperated in the Asiatic cheetah Project. Since 2007, I started working for Persian leopard project, and was involved in population estimation using camera traps in different parts of Iran. I have also been a member of Pallas’s cat working group since 2012. For the past 3 years, I have been assessing the status of the sand cat in Iran and figure as of the assessors of this species in IUCN Red List 2016. Currently I am involved in human-leopard conflict reduction outside protected areas in southern Iran.
