Tony Lynam

Wildlife Conservation Society

I joined the Wildlife Conservation Society in 1997. I am a trained ecologist and conservation scientist and I have 30 years experience advising and implementing wildlife research and conservation management projects in Australia, Asia and East Africa. I helped pilot the use of new technologies for enumerating populations and monitoring threats to tigers, leopards, small cats and other wildlife. I participated in Red List Status assessments and conservation planning for tigers and other Asian cats. I am actively involved in the development of new technologies (SMART, Kobotoolbox, Wildlife Insights) for use in strengthening conservation implementation.
