Peking University, Conservation Biology Building

I currently work at the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, China, as Assistant Professor. Since 2002 I have been working on large mammal ecology studies by camera-trapping in southwest China. These studies are a joint effort by multiple academic institutions, conservation NGOs and government agencies. We set up a large mammal monitoring network by camera-trapping among nature reserves and our research result updated the status of felid species (including leopard, snow leopard, Asiatic golden cat, leopard cat and Chinese mountain cat) and their prey in this region. My recent works specifically focus on the ecology of Asiatic golden cat.
