I received my M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences from Aligarh Muslim University, India, and later earned my Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences from the same institution, where my doctoral research focused on resource partitioning and coexistence between the Asiatic lion (Panthera leo leo) and the Indian leopard (Panthera pardus fusca) in the Gir Protected Area. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Sciences at the College of Forestry, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, India. Currently, my research focuses on the ecology and conservation of large felids, with particular emphasis on the Asiatic lion and the Indian leopard in protected areas and agroecosystems. My research integrates camera trapping, spatial ecology, occupancy modeling, dietary ecology, and human–wildlife conflict studies to investigate the ecological requirements, interspecific interactions, and conservation of large carnivores.
