I am an independent researcher with interests in wildlife biology, environmental history, and citizen science. I also work on wildlife film projects as a researcher, integrating scientific research into conservation storytelling and harnessing the power of media to promote conservation awareness. My current research focuses on population and spatial ecology, species interactions, and conservation of carnivore communities in northeast India, primarily small and medium-sized felids. In the past, I have been involved with projects related to population estimation of tigers and leopards, and conducting landscape level surveys to determine feasibility of cheetah reintroduction in India.
