I have over 15 years working experience in various context including international environmental NGO’s such as IUCN, WWF and TRAFFIC in Russia and Asia with a focus on combatting illegal trade in tigers. I worked as a senior Customs officer in the Russian Customs in Vladivostok and participated in numerous fora on global tiger conservation, co-authored reports and publications on analysis of trade in tigers and other Asian big cats. I completed my PhD at the Central European University, Budapest. The topic of my dissertation is “Tigers in global wildlife crime: addressing the issue in the Amur-Heilong region”.
