Greens Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (part of Vantara) is located near Village Moti Khavdi, in the Jamnagar district of Gujarat, India (Pin Code: 361142).
I am a wildlife professional with extensive practical experience in wildlife conservation and management, with a particular focus on wild cat species, including work in tiger reserves, national parks, and conservation breeding facilities. My field experience includes camera trapping, line-transect surveys, wildlife monitoring, data collection and database management, as well as community awareness and conservation programmes. I have hands-on experience in captive management, enclosure design, habitat enrichment, conservation breeding, and the management of endangered and critically endangered species. My work also includes conservation breeding programmes, species reintroduction planning, population management, and maintaining studbook and pedigree records to support responsible ex-situ conservation. Through field-based monitoring, wildlife husbandry, habitat management and species recovery initiatives, I aim to contribute to evidence-based conservation of wild cats and their habitats. I am particularly interested in strengthening collaboration between field conservation, captive management, conservation breeding, and reintroduction programmes to support the long-term survival of threatened wild cat species.
