As the Program Director of Tiger Conservation Partnership at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, my focus is on local conservation capacity building. Previously, I managed Save The Tiger Fund – a grant making program to support tiger conservation in tiger range countries. I have been working with conservation practitioners, researchers, and policy makers both in the government and civil society in tiger range countries and international organizations. I have reserve management and research experiences on tigers, their prey, and several other wildlife species in Nepal’s Terai Arc Landscape along the foothills of the Himalayas.
