Andrew Kittle
The Wilderness & Wildlife Conservation Trust
As co-Founding Trustee and Principal Investigator for the Wilderness & Wildlife Conservation Trust (WWCT) in Sri Lanka I have designed and conducted studies on Sri Lankan leopard population structure, ecology, diet, resource selection and human-leopard interactions throughout the island with remote camera surveys in Horton Plains NP (2012), Ritigala Strict Natural Reserve (2015), Wilpattu NP (2015), the Central Highlands (2016-17), Gal Oya NP (2018-2019) and the buffer zone of Yala NP (2020-21). WWCT’s current focus is on establishing the Central Highlands Peak Ridge Forest Corridor PA. My 2014 PhD included research on the spatial ecology and behavior of African lions.
