I have spent over two decades investigating and researching the illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade and motivating solutions to this growing crisis. I have worked on a wide range of species threatened by trade, including tiger, leopard, clouded leopard and more, mainly in Asia, but increasingly in other parts of the world. I have a PhD from Oxford Brookes University and is an active member of many IUCN SSC specialist groups. I am the Executive Director of Monitor (Monitor Conservation Research Society) and have the pleasure of leading a team of professionals dedicated to tackling the illegal and unsustainable trade in wildlife.
