I have been chair of IUCN NL, IUCN COUNCILLOR, member of the SC of IUCN SSC, and I am an active member of the ALWG, Cat SG, Canid SG and Sirenia SG and board member of the stichting Leeuw in The Netherlands
I have supervised PhD students and MSc students on human wildlife conflict related topics
