I am a zoologist and curator at Tierpark Bern, Switzerland, where I have been working since 2022. My work focuses on the management, conservation, and welfare of wild cat species, as well as their role in coordinated ex situ conservation programmes. Since 2022, I have been the EEP Coordinator for the Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx), where I am responsible for population management and breeding recommendations within the European conservation breeding programme. I am also a member of the EAZA European Wildcat Species Committee. At Tierpark Bern, I work with several wild cat species, including Persian Leopards, Carpathian Lynx, and European Wildcats. Through my work, I am particularly interested in maintaining genetically and demographically viable populations and in strengthening the links between conservation breeding, scientific animal management, and wild cat husbandry.
