A total of 78 species of mammals belonging to seven orders (Insectivora, Chiroptera, Carnivora, Hyracoidea, Artiodactyla, Lagomorpha and Rodentia) have been recorded from Jordan. Bats and rodents represent the highest diversity of recorded species. Notes on systematics and ecology for the recorded species were given. |
