Bishopwood: a tree preferred by Bengal tiger and leopard for clawing

Tigers_ Panthera tigris _and leopards _Panthera pardus_ use the bishopwood tree _Bischofia javanica_ for clawing in order to remove worn-out sheaths and to leave scent marks behind. This tree can serve as an effective item of environmental enrichment when planted inside tiger and leopard enclosures in zoos.
