Here we report a probable first evidence of jungle cat _Felis chaus_ from Malaysia. A specimen thought to be a jungle cat was frequently detected in a highly fragmented secondary forest from February 2008 until April 2009, while a study on the status of the leopard _Panthera pardus_ was undertaken. |
