The Black-footed Cat Working Group (BFCWG) aims to conserve this rare cat species by furthering awareness and conducting multidisciplinary research on the species' biology. This year we made one joint trip to the two previous study areas: Benfontein Nature Reserve, near Kimberley, from 1-7 November, then to Nuwejaarsfontein Farm, south of De Aar, from 7-12 November and to a third potential study area, Biesiesfonteinclose to Victoria West from 12-15 November 2012. Alex Sliwa visited Benfontein from 15-19 July 2012, and Beryl Wilson has visited on several occasions. .. |
