Livestock depredation problem by tigers in cattle farms
1983  The Journal of Wildlife and Parks (2): 141-150

This paper introduces the livestock depredation problem by tigers in two cattle farms namely Darabif, Pahang Tenggara and Behrang Ulu, Perak. It gives an account of the tigers present and their dependence on cattle. The farms and their surrounding are described. An interesting link between kills and rainfall is also analysed and discussed. It is suggested that more tigers might turn towards absolute dependence on cattle as development continues around Pahang Tenggara.
