Pulmonary adenocarcinoma in a lioness (_Panthera leo_)

Pulmonary neoplasms are common in felids but only a few cases have been reported in African lions _(Panthera leo): _One report described a pulmonary adenoma, and one a pulmonary papillary adenocarcinoma while another 2 focussed on pulmonary metastasis. This report describes a pulmonary adenocarcinoma and a parathyroid gland andenoma in a female 19-year-old lion _(Panthera leo) _held in captivity.
