The critical situation of the big cats in Somalia is presented. According the author, the cheetah has been almost exterminated in Somalia, although it was once widely distributed in the country. The poaching for the animal skin is cited as a disappearance cause. L'auteur pr‚sente la situation critique des grands f‚lins en Somalie. Selon l'auteur, le gu‚pard a quasiment ‚t‚ extermin‚ en Somalie, alors qu'il ‚tait autrefois largement distribu‚ dans tout le pays. Le braconnage pour la vente des peaux de l'animal est cit‚ comme l'une des causes de disparition.
