A total of eight red fox (_Vulpes vulpes_), and one Pine Marten (_Martes martes_) were killed and consumed by radio-collared Eurasian lynx (_Lynx lyxn_). These observations and those from the literature, suggest that intra-guild predation by Eurasian lynx may be common. Such predation may be cause for concern because of the risk transferring of scabies from red fox to lynx. |
