The Zanzibar Leopard is an elusive and possible extinct subspecies endemic to Unguja (Zanzibar) island. It has never been studied in the wild and hasn't been seen by a researcher since the early 1980s.There is a widespread belief that witches use the animals to harm their fellow villagers. |
