Evaluating mountain lion translocation in New Mexico

We translocated mountain lions with a known social and behavioral history to evaluate the feasibility of translocations as a management tool to reestablish lion populations in historic ranges, relieve the threat of inbreeding in isolates populations, or to solve management problems involving lion-human incidents.
