Lynx reintroduction projects are often confronted with divergent public opinions. This is due to the public's ignorance concerning the lynx biology, to exaggeration of risks related to lynx reintroduction and to a false interpretation of the reasons for lynx extinction. This is why the author here examines and presents the biology of lynxes to a wide audience. |
