In addition to hunting tools, hunting trophies, traditional hunting reports and the trapping premiums or shooting fees recorded in old account books, many field names also bear witness to the former distribution of large predatory game in our country. However, some of these field names like B„renjoch, B„rentobel, B„rentschugge, Wolfsgrat, Wolfsschlucht, Wolfhalden or Luchsmatt may be merely expressions of human imagination and therefore not necessarily based on precise observations. |
