Stott, K.W.
Headlights as a hunting aid for servals in Ethiopia and Kenia
1980  Mammalia (44): 271-272

Several times during June and July, 1973, C. Jackson Selsor and I had occasion to travel the macadam road between Nazareth and Awash Station in the Ethipoian lowlands east of Addis Ababa. During such drives we almost invariably encountered examples of a richly colored form of serval, _Felis serval_ (ferrarii?) and occasionally wildcats _F. Sylvestris ocreala_.
