Leopard-cats, Prionailurus bengalensis (Carnivora: Felidae) from Indonesia and the Philippines, with the description of two new species

Studied was the geographic variation of leopard cats (_Prionailurus bengalensis_) in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Distinct subspecies can be recognised for: Java and Bali; Sumatra: Borneo; Palawan and Negros. These show unexpected zoogeographic patterns. On the Malay peninsula a probable hybrid population exists.
