The following summary has been condensed from the proposal for registration of a Breeding Centre for Felidae prepared by the Chinese authorities for the CITES Conference of the Parties in Japan in March 1992, and a paper on plans for future reintroduction in the wild by the director of the farm, Liu Xin Chen, delivered at a meeting of international and Chinese cat specialists in Beijing in August 1992. |
