Kumar, U.
Tiger and Leopard: Population ecology and resource partitioning of sympatric carnivores in Kanha Tiger Reserve M.P
2019  Full Book

This was the first study which used both camera trap based mark-recapture and continuous monitoring known fate information to estimate reproductive parameters along with age specific survival and dispersal probability of tigers. First study on leopards for estimating sex-specific actual survival and recruitment rate using non-invasive open population spatial capture recapture models. Such information is crucial to develop conservation strategies for these threatened carnivores.
