Identification and analysis of baseline times of the mining to optimize the production process in the Inmaculada Operative United
2019  Full Book

This report presents the compilation of times and observations made in the Inmaculada Operative United, throughout the mining cycle of the methods of long drills and mechanized filled cutting, these times obtained will be separated by operating times and non-effective times manageable and unmanageable. The operating times were analyzed and processed in order to obtain the unit times and their duration for each stage of the mining cycle to later standardize it, taking into account the non-effective times mapped in the personnel follow-up that affect the operation. The new baseline elaborated from the results of this study will allow us to better visualize the operation in each of its stages, allowing us to identify in detail the unit time of each activity, as well as the main delays and unproductive times that cause the delay of the work and thus make proposals for improvement to correct these times. The observation methodology was direct where the data collection was carried out as follows: (1) Follow-up of personnel in each of the operational and non-operational activities from the beginning to the end of the guard, (2) Taking of unitary times of each stage of the mining cycle, (3) Taking of operative delay times detected in each stage of the mining cycle, (4) Proposals for improvements in: drilling and blasting of long holes and breasting, carrying and transport of ore, support and filling.
