African golden cat _Caracal aurata_ photos were captured on camera traps in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. These photos were obtained between 2014 and 2017. Previous studies have documented golden cats in neighbouring Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo, and although they were assumed to occur in western Rwanda, there has been no evidence until now. |
