_Felis silvestris_ record at the Romani abric (Capellades, Barcelona) - review, analysis, interpretation and contextualisation
2017  Book Chapter

_Felis silvestris_ is a common taxon in the archaeological sites of the Upper Pleistocene of the Iberian Peninsula. Its presence is usually related to natural intrusions. However, the zooarchaeological analysis of Abric RomanĀ” level O, dated to 55 ka, provided evidence of anthropogenic activity (skin removal, meat and bone marrow consumption) in several remains of wildcat, corresponding to the same individual. This case has encouraged the revision of the record of this taxon at the Abric RomanĀ” sequence. Next, the results obtained have been contextualized, basically in the framework of the Upper Pleistocene of the Iberian Peninsula.
