Presencia de _Leopardus jacobita_ _Leopardus colocolo_ y su importancia socio-cultural en el distrito de Ayaviri de la region Puno, Peru

The information available for _Leopardus jacobita _and _Leopardus colocolo _placed in the Puno region reports two studies without evaluation of the distribution of the two species in the north of Puno and without confirming the existing ones, on the other hand it is known that to carry out an effective conservation species requires a holistic approach where several branches are included which are one of the main social and cultural; in this context, the present research had as objectives: To determine the presence and to describe the socio-cultural importance of _Leopardus jacobita _and _Leopardus cococolo_. The same was done in the Ayaviri district of the Puno region between February 2015 and August 2016. Sites were selected using the Google Hearth software, once the survey transects were established, with surveys being an instrument For the obtaining of information and in addition the methodologies of _Leopardus sp_. Skins, search for clues / traces and finally photographic trapping were carried out. A total of 39 communities were evaluated and a total of 76 people were surveyed. Of the 39 localities alone, 17 were positive at least in the presence samples for all felines, 17 communities through surveys, 03 communities through skins and 04 communities through trap cameras. In this way, four new locations were obtained with new records confirmed for _L. colocolo _and 01 for _L. jacobita_. For the second objective it was observed that the younger the respondents, the lower the knowledge about the species. Only 7% indicated that _Leopardus sp_. I attack your pets in full domestic cats. 3.6% admitted to hunting felines, 1.8% mentioned that their ancestors hunted felines. Of the 12 skins recorded 3 were obtained by means of an intentional hunting (villager and his dogs) and 09 were obtained by an unintentional hunting (dogs only). Finally the 82% who dress less feline individuals than in the past, 12.5% care about the absence of felines and 60.7% support the conservation of felines.
