The bats _Glyphonycteris sylvestris _and _Glossophaga leachii, _as well as the margay (_Leopardus wiedii_) and spotted skunk (_Spilogale gracilis_) are reported for the first time for the states of Durango and Nayarit, respectively. Additionally, the presence of the mouse opossum _Tlacuatzin canescens _is confirmed in Durango over 100 years after it was recorded for the first time.
