Record of fishing cat from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madya Pradesh, India

Camera trapping was undertaken during 2017 to study tiger dispersal and its prey in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve BTR. This exercise revealed the presence of fishing cat, _Prionailurus viverrinus_ in the Kallwah range of the reserve. This is the first photographic record of this species in the central Indian landscape.
