The Annual Report for the year 2006 from the Centre for the Recovery of Endangered Species (NACRES), an NGO active in Georgia and South Caucasus: the monitoring of large mammals with remote sensing cameras in Vashlovani National Park continued throughout 2006. It yielded quite a number of new photos of Noah, the famous Vashlovani leopard. Other projects concerned the brown bear, the Eurasian otter and the _Capra_ species in Georgia. |
