Andean cat and guigna conservation in Chile

The Andean Cat _Leopardus jacobita_ is an endangered small wild cat endemic to the high Andean plateau of South America, commonly inhabiting exclusively elevations above 3,000 m. Conservation actions for the Andean Cat are conducted within the framework of the Andean Cat Alliance (AGA), a multinational and interdisciplinary organization created in 1999 by conservation professionals from across the distribution range of the species in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru.
