Die Wiedereinbuergerung dreier symboltraechtiger Arten im Alpenraum
2017  Natur und Landschaft (92): 417-423

Several species were reintroduced to the Alps during the last century, amongst them the Alpine ibex (_Capra ibex ibex_), the lynx (_Lynx lynx_) and the bearded vulture (_Gypaetus barbatus_). The reintroduction programmes were organised differently. A crucial factor for all reintroduction projects was their acceptance by local people. Another similarity is the concern for genetic diversity. Reintroductions require an intact habitat, which other sensitive species also benefit from.
