Appel, A.
Fishing cat Conservation Strategy and challenges
2018  Conference Proceeding

The Fishing Cat Working Group was founded in 2011 with the aim of compiling and disseminating information about the Fishing Cat _Prionailurus viverrinus_, and encouraging conservation action for the species. We are an international group with members from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Indonesia, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. During the First International Fishing Cat Conservation Symposium in 2015, we developed the Fishing Cat Conservation Strategy (Appel and Duckworth 2016). Our long-term goal is to ensure the survival of wild Fishing Cat populations.
