| First confirmed record of margay in Nuevo Le¢n, north-east Mexico | |

We confirmed for the first time the presence of margay _Leopardus wiedii_ in the southern portion of the State Nuevo Le¢n, Mexico, by using camera traps. The record represents the north-eastern limit of the margay's distribution range in America. The species was pictured at a site with high livestock density, associated with disturbance. |
