A single rusty-spotted cat _Prionailurus rubiginosus _was sighted at Amboli hill station, Maharashtra in the morning at 02:00 h on the road leading towards Shirgaonkar Point. Amboli is located in a beautiful semi-evergreen forest in the south of Maharashtra in the Western Ghats. No earlier record from Amboli is known for the rustyspotted cat. |
