I am an independent conservation biologist and have over 8 years’ experience in small wildcats ecology and conservation from India. Presently, I'm focusing on the ecology and conservation of the elusive and threatened small cat species like marbled cats and Asiatic golden cats in North-East India and fishing cats in an estuarine complex of South India. I also implemented few awareness programmes like "Children for Fishing Cat", targeting the school kids belonging to the local fishing community of Andhra Pradesh, India. In addition, I regularly interact with the local communities to raise awareness and influence their perception of the conservation of small wildcats.
