I am Rama Mishra from Nepal. Currently, a PhD Scholar at University of Antwerp, Belgium, studying fishing cats in Nepal. My carrier in wildlife conservation has begun with the fishing cat research and conservation in Nepal since 2012. Since then, I continue my work with focus on small cats’ research and conservation inside and outside the protected areas. Primarily I engage in small cats including fishing cat, jungle cat and rusty-spotted cat; however sometimes on tigers too. I’m investigating the research gap in the small cats’ in Terai (Southern lowland of Nepal) and also working for their conservation by threat reducing activities.
