I am currently working at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Villarrica Campus. I have been working on felid research and outreach for more than 12 years, particularly in southern Chile and on the small güiña cat (Leopardus guigna). Outreach activities have been delivered at schools as workshops and diverse educational resources. My main research interests are how habitat loss and fragmentation, as well as human interactions, impact on this felid and the carnivore guild as a whole. For the next three years I will be looking into how development in agricultural landscapes impacts the meso-carnivore guild of the Araucanía Region.
