I am a wildlife biologist working at Beijing Normal University. I started my career with a pioneering field research on Indochinese tiger in China in 2005, and then expanded to Amur tiger, Amur leopard and North China leopard. My colleagues at Beijing Normal University (BNU) and I have convinced the Chinese central government to create a 15,000-squarekilometer big National Park for Amur tiger and Amur leopard based on the ten-year research of my team. I have also launched the project of Tiger-Leopard Observation Network in China (TLON) to provide the nation-wide monitoring network and long-term research platform for the conservation of the two big cats in China.
