Palomares et al 1991 Status and distribution of the Iberian lynx
General sketch of the study area. Squares are 5 x 5 km. Big black dots (lynx high abundance and breeding) and small black dots (lynx low abundance and improbable habitual breeding) represent positive presence samplings, white dots negative samplings. The remaining squares were assumed to be negative; black line = nuclei, dashed line = potential area for stable breeding populations.
