I am a field ecologist and conservationist with expertise in large felid behavior, ecology, conservation and management. My research interests focus on the large African felids, particularly Panthera leo and Panthera pardus with particular interest in practical management and conservation outcomes. I have published over 100 scientific papers relating to felid biology and conservation. I edited the technical volume: Biology and Conservation of Wild Felids (Oxford University Press, 2010). I collaborate closely with resource managers in the sites where my research is undertaken and I aim to contribute to national and international policy and conservation implementation.
