I am the spatial ecologist the Cheetah Research Project at Leibniz Institute for Zoo- and Wildlife Research. I lead the subprojects on HWC, density estimation and conservation management. I received my PhD on the spatial ecology of free-ranging cheetah and its applications to mitigate the farmer-cheetah conflict in Namibia. I am an expert in capturing and deployment of biologgers on mammals and the analyses of the resulting spatial data. I am a paraprofessional veterinarian for chemical immobilization of wildlife. Currently running projects on cheetah, leopard and lion in Namibia and cheetah in Benin but involved in projects throughout Africa.
