I am Conservation Scientist of the Puma Program at Panthera and Country Coordinator of the Andean Cat Alliance in Chile. I have an equivalent of a Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master in Nature Conservation. I have worked since 2008 in research and conservation programs with wild carnivores in Chile, and specially focused on Andean cats (Leopardus jacobita) and pumas (Puma concolor). I am interested in human-wildlife interactions and work with communities, actually I coordinate a collaborative coexistence program of Panthera with Estancia Cerro Guido in Chilean Patagonia. Other areas of interest include outreach activities, spatial ecology and survey techniques for carnivore monitoring.
