Information on the lion populations of West and Central Africa, most research on lions has been done in East- and South Africa. In this research a survey was made in the wet season of the lion population of Waza National Park, Cameroon. The population status was investigated, two research techniques were tested and information was gathered about the lion-livestock conflict.
